oliveonbranch.jpgOn a Saturday in early November we invite 60 friends and family to help us harvest. In 2007 we also had a great crew of 11 paid workers. We pick from 8am to 2pm and break for a Harvest Lunch. On Sunday we pick from 8am until noon and then we head for the press. In 2007 we arrived at the press in Hopland operated by Olivino at about 1:30pm on Sunday afternoon. They have a brand new three - stone press from Italy. In 2007 the 5330 pounds of olives yielded 93 gallons of olive oil. Olivino put our oil in 55 gal. food grade drums.
